- 2 1⁄2 cups cubed and peeled potatoes
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons minced chives
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.
- Add the milk, mayonnaise, chives, garlic powder and pepper; mash potatoes.
- Stir in cheese and bacon.
